Map the content that must remain visible
Identify faces, hands, labels and demonstration details before placing text. The available space can change during the clip. A caption position that looks attractive over an empty background may cover the decisive action later. Watch the whole excerpt and note the moments that require an exception rather than forcing one position everywhere.

Leave room for the destination interface
Social players can overlay controls and labels. Exact safe areas vary with the destination, device and interface, so do not treat one pixel template as universal. If the same file must serve several destinations, favor a conservative composition and test the important ones rather than promising compatibility everywhere.
Use an exception deliberately
A short local position change can protect a product detail, but excessive jumping text is distracting. Consider simplifying the line or choosing another crop first. Record the reason for any special placement so a later global style update does not erase it. Inspect the final export after applying a saved template.
Check the longest word as well as the longest line
A long name or unbroken technical term may behave differently from an ordinary sentence. Review its rendering at the intended size and in any translated version. If reducing the font makes the text too small, rework the line grouping or composition instead. The correct repair is the one that preserves both readability and the source meaning, not whichever edit makes the bounding box fit fastest.
