Why look past Veed: no dollar price on its pricing page

Veed's pricing page showed another currency when read, has no currency control and states no dollar price, so this page gives none for Veed. Its plans are named Creator, Pro, Studio and Enterprise and are priced per user, with a switch between paying monthly and paying yearly.

Veed's own tool page has one dollar sentence: "A Creator plan starts at $20/month". It names no billing basis, so it stays out of the table. Videos made on Veed's free plan carry a watermark, as its FAQ states.

Kapwing and Descript: free plans, then $16 per member or person on yearly billing

Kapwing Pro is $16 per member a month, billed annually, and subtitles up to 1,000 minutes a month with no Kapwing watermark and 4K export. Kapwing's Free plan is $0, with a watermark and subtitles up to 10 minutes. Submagic vs Kapwing sets the two plan by plan.

Descript Hobbyist is $16 per person a month on annual billing. It includes 10 media hours a month, which its page counts as 600 minutes, and 1080p export without a watermark. Descript also has a Free plan at $0, and its pricing page lists dynamic captions, which create animated captions automatically. Pick Descript for long recordings.

Submagic vs Veed: what the pages of each vendor state

Submagic adds AI auto captions to short clips, 15, 40 or up to 100 videos a month by plan, and its trial covers three short videos with no credit card. Veed's free trial is offered to enterprise customers with at least 3 users.

On subtitle files the two vendors differ. Veed's tool page says subtitle files come with a paid plan, and its pricing page gives every paid plan subtitle generation up to a fair-use limit of 50 hours a month. Opus Clip: when the job is clips

Opus Clip Pro is $14.5 a month on yearly billing ($174 billed annually) with 300 credits a month. Its Free plan gives 60 credits a month with a watermark and no editing, and clips stop being exportable after 3 days. Pick Opus Clip when the job is cutting clips rather than captioning videos you already have.
